Cheboygan Area Schools is excited to announce that the School Board approved a referendum resolution at their May 9th meeting. The referendum comprises one distinct and vital question, addressing three (3) main priorities:
Addressing long-standing facility needs at the elementary school.
Upgrading aged infrastructure within the district to improve energy usage, lower utility bills, and reduce operational costs.
Implementing important projects that prioritize safety, accessibility, and enhance the environment for students, staff, and visitors at our schools.
This plan will address both immediate and long-term facility needs within our school district. The special election for the referendum will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
