Thank you to the Cheboygan Opera House for hosting the 5th-8th graders at a performance of The Tartan Terrors.

For their project this year, NHS members are pen pals with nursing home residents. For the holidays, the students wrote Christmas Cards for all of the residents that live there. We hope it will lift some spirits! #GoChiefs!!

Inverness students visited Medilodge and The Brook this week to share their Christmas Spirit. Students sang Christmas Carols and presented residents with handmade Christmas cards. What a wonderful gift!

CIS 4th and 5th grade students sang their hearts out at their Holiday Concert yesterday! Thanks again to our friends at the Opera House, parents, teachers, and of course, Miss Abby!!

This week, representatives from our local VFW recognized our Voice of Democracy finalists. Mr. Phil Oppenheiser presented awards to third-place finisher Michaela Steiner, second-place finisher Morgan Davis, and this year’s first-place winner, Carley Lopicolo. All three students received cash awards, certificates, and commemorative medals from the VFW. Go Chiefs!

What an amazing day at the DECA competition held at Saginaw Valley State University. Our Chief family is so proud of the competitors and their success! Congrats to all of you and your advisors! Many of our competitors qualified for the state competition and a lot of hardware is coming home with our team! #GoChiefs!

Mrs. Brand's anatomy classes learned about the nervous system first hand by dissecting sheep brains in class today! #GoChiefs!!

ESAB and Purity visited the high school Metals classes presenting to our students about Aluminum Welding. A great deal of information was covered and gave our students opportunities to gain valuable knowledge. #GoChiefs!!!

Thank you Academic Boosters for purchasing a subscription to Science World for the science department. Today, 7th and 8th graders used the newest issue to explore how nonfiction text features help readers better understand text. #GoChiefs!!
