Any freshmen or sophomore students that have NOT signed up for FB yet, but are interested in playing JV football this year, should report to the Field House between 2pm and 3pm tomorrow to talk directly with the JV coaches. JV-FB practice starts at 3:20 tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you Custodians for attending the appreciation luncheon today. You are doing a wonderful job this summer and while most school employees are off this summer, your working your hardest to make sure our schools are the best they can possibly be for our students on day ONE! Good Stuff! #GoChiefs!

This is a fun, family friendly clinic where not only do we have all these services available but also our Community Connection program that offers assistance and resources to families. We look forward to serving you!"

Subject: Tennis Court Renovation Bids – Request for Referrals: FYI – If you know of anyone who may be interested in submitting a bid for the renovation of our tennis courts, please let Steve and me know. Our goal is to receive at least 8 bids by the deadline: August 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the board room. To be considered, all bids must be submitted before that date and time. The summer expansion of Thunder Bay is coming along nicely! With continued good weather, the project is on track to be completed before the start of school. This will allow us to add another caregiver, enhancing and expanding our ability to serve the community.

Thank you to the COPESD Summer Work-Study Program for inviting us to the STEM Career Exploration Media Day yesterday at the Industrial Arts Institute in Onaway. It was a great opportunity to learn about the impactful work being done and the career pathways being offered to students throughout our region. And, to see some of our own student in Action!
More than 200 K–12 students in our area are participating in these programs. In Cheboygan alone, 37 students took part this summer, up from 24 students last year. We’re proud of this growth and are setting our sights even higher, to send 50 students next summer!
