Congratulations to our 0 hour FAP top 10 power output per pound of body weight in the bench press. Leading the way was Luke Munger with 6.5 watts / lb. That was a personal best. #GoChiefs!!


Mrs. Brand's Anatomy classes are dissecting sheep brains today as they explore and learn about the nervous system! They had to label 11 parts of the brain, describe functions of the parts, and answer questions.

Students in Ms. Dawley's Psychology class participated in the Senses and Perception Olympic events today. There was a variation of all of their senses and reactions. What an amazing lab for the students. Well done by all participants.






Ms. Saffords high school intro to teaching class came to the intermediate school to be reading buddies with Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Bryant’s 4th grade classes. A great time was had by all!




Huge shout out to Mrs. Johnson and the spirit crew for putting on the glow dance for our 6th and 7th grade students! Students had a great time!

Thank you Culinary Class and Mrs. Prause for getting up at 5am this morning to prepare food for the Good Morning Cheboygan event at CNB this morning! What a great way to kick off break with some Christmas spirit!









Mrs. Brand's zoology (Adv. Bio.) class explored class Oligochaeta with a living earthworm lab yesterday! They collected data on the worms' responses to water, touch, and smells like ammonia. Worms will be released and preserved specimens will be dissected tomorrow. No worms were harmed during this lab! Ha ha! #GoChiefs!!






Due to the blowing wind/snow, frigid temps, and poor visibility, Cheboygan Area Schools will be closed today, Thursday, December 12th.

Thank you Mr. Munger and the Wood Shop class for building the new CACC Santa Mailbox! This will be very helpful collecting Santa Letters that will need to bagged and shipped to the North Pole soon. If you have not dropped your letter off, please do so soon. Christmas is only 14 days away!


Great halftime shows during the JV and Varsity games tonight. The 1-2nd and 5-6th grade girls teams provided us with some competitive action. The future is bright at Cheboygan!

Great night for GBB as we host Onaway tonight! Great crowd and atmosphere! JV won earlier and the Varsity team is leading in the second quarter, 27 - 12, with a little more than 3 minutes to go in quarter. Go Chiefs!
