This week, ending 07.24.2026, construction crews made excellent progress throughout the renovation project. Drywall finishing has been completed and areas are now ready for paint. Wall tile installation has begun in the next three restroom areas, while framing for the final restroom and storage walls has also been completed. All Variable Volume Units (VUVs) have been installed in the classrooms, along with the required copper piping, and the steel mezzanine in the mechanical room is now complete. Roofing work also continues, with the existing roof ballast removed and new insulation being installed.
Over the next week, crews will focus on completing the final in-wall mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspections for the last restroom, finishing overhead ductwork, reconnecting classroom ceiling grids, and installing luxury vinyl tile flooring along the window areas. Initial startup of the two new boilers is also scheduled, along with the start of painting in the gymnasium. New classroom marker boards have been delivered and installation will begin, while roofing, electrical, and mechanical work will continue throughout the building as the project remains on schedule.
Respectfully Submitted,
Nathan Sheridan - Site Superintendent
