East Elementary Renovation Update:

Construction continues to move forward at East Elementary, with significant progress being made throughout the building. Metal framing for the new restrooms and corridor areas is complete, and inspections for framing, electrical, and plumbing are scheduled this week.

Crews have completed epoxy flooring in the first four restrooms, drywall installation in classrooms is complete with finishing work underway, and carpenters continue installing door frames throughout the building. Electrical work, plumbing, masonry, and mechanical upgrades are all progressing as planned, including the ongoing installation of two new boilers.

Looking ahead, crews will begin installing restroom wall finishes, new classroom sinks and toilets, classroom mechanical units, and structural steel work for the new mechanical room area. Additional work includes concrete restoration near the stage area and the start of roof ballast removal and tear-off activities.

The project remains on schedule, and we appreciate the continued hard work and coordination of all contractors involved as we transform East Elementary for our students and staff.
