Memorial Services for Charles “Chuck” Atkins
Charles “Chuck” Atkins was a valued member of the Cheboygan Area Schools community who made a lasting impact on students, staff, and families through his dedication, mentorship, and kindness. Chuck served as a paraprofessional in the high school automotive program, where he was known for his patience, practical knowledge, and ability to connect with students. He took pride in helping students develop both technical skills and confidence in themselves.
Beyond the classroom, Chuck was deeply involved in supporting school athletics and activities, where he built meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike. His approachable personality, steady presence, and genuine care for others helped shape a positive learning environment for many young people.
Chuck’s influence extended well beyond his job responsibilities. He was respected as a mentor, teammate, and friend who cared deeply about the success and well-being of students. His contributions to Cheboygan Area Schools will be remembered and appreciated for years to come.
