I would like to sincerely thank the Veterans who were able to attend this morning, as well as everyone who helped make our Veterans Day Assembly so special! To our Veterans: please know that your example, sacrifice, vulnerability, wisdom, and courage continue to guide us, inspire us, and protect the most sacred gifts we have—life, liberty, and freedom.
A special thank you to our Student Council members who planned the event, their sponsors Macey and Brenna, and to all of our students for their outstanding behavior during the assembly—especially with nearly 1,500 people in attendance!
The best way to teach gratitude to our young people is to show them what it looks like and to lead by example. Today was a shining example of that. Today was a great day to be a Chief!
