District Sets Community Meetings: "Prioritizing Infrastructure Needs and Improvement Opportunities"
Cheboygan, MI - The Cheboygan Area Schools leadership and school board are pleased to announce
two upcoming community meetings aimed at providing valuable insights into the critical building
infrastructure needs and improvement opportunities within our school buildings. Information shared and
gathered at these community meetings will assist the District in its current Strategic Planning work.
District leadership and Sitelogic, our facility engineering partner, will share facility assessments,
proposed solutions, and planned funding sources to address these needs.
"We recognize that our school district facilities are important community assets that need to be
maintained for the health and safety of our students, staff, and community members," shared
Superintendent Spencer Byrd. “These meetings will give community members the opportunity to learn
more about our facility needs, ask questions, and provide feedback on proposed solutions developed
by the school board.”
MEETING DETAILS – Both meetings are open to the public. Each meeting will build on the next so
attendance at both is encouraged but those who can only attend one night are still invited to participate.
